Certified Translation in Uganda
Officially certified translations of birth certificates, diplomas, contracts, court rulings and immigration documents, accepted by embassies, universities and authorities.
A certified translation is a complete and accurate translation accompanied by a signed statement of accuracy from a qualified translator. Embassies, immigration offices, universities, courts and employers in Uganda and abroad require them for any document that is not in their working language. ABC Translation prepares certified translations between English, Swahili, Luganda, French, Arabic, German and more than 30 other languages, formatted to mirror the original so officials can compare them line by line.

Frequently asked questions
Will my certified translation be accepted by the embassy?
Each embassy has its own rules: some accept a translator's certification, others require a notarised or legalised translation. Tell us which authority will receive the document and we will prepare it to their requirements.
Can I send scans instead of originals?
Yes. Clear scans or photos are enough for us to quote and translate. If the receiving authority needs the translation bound to the original, we will tell you how to get the original to us.
